This is session 2 of 3 to revitalize the Nickajack Elementary Garden. With the space cleared from session 1, participants will begin shaping the new garden design. This session includes tilling the soil to prepare for planting, digging out defined garden areas, and carefully marking where the cinder blocks will be placed. This is a more structured, detail-focused session that lays the groundwork for the success of the final build. What to Bring/Wear: Closed-toe shoes, comfortable outdoor clothes, gloves recommended, water bottle Participants are encouraged to bring their shovels, hedge trimmers, and other gardening tools. Note: There will be no access to restrooms or inside facilities.
